    Wet electrostatic precipitator is a gas purification system that uses strong electric field to separate solid and liquid suspended particles from gas. High voltage direct current is connected to its electrode system to generate a strong electric field between the electrodes, ionize the surrounding gas and produce a large number of electrons and positive and negative ions. When the dust containing flue gas and water mist enter the electric field, the dust and fine droplets will be charged at a very fast speed under the action of these electrons and ions, and quickly tend to the electrode with opposite polarity under the action of the electric field force. Finally, the charge will be released and adsorbed to the electrode. The water mist generated by the wet desulfurization process condenses and humidifies the dust. The dust and water mist are charged in the electric field and collected together. The water mist forms a water film on the dust collection electrode plate, which keeps the electrode plate clean. The spray cleaning device sprays water mist with certain pressure onto the electrode surface to accelerate the dust containing droplets to flow down the surface of the anode and cathode electrodes into the ash hopper and finally into the sedimentation tank, while the purified gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the air outlet. (the system is used for the primary dry dedusting system of converter, which shall meet the explosion-proof requirements on the basis of the original process)

    Under the condition that the dust content of flue gas at the inlet of wet electrostatic precipitator is ≤ 100mg / Nm3, the dust content in flue gas after fine dust removal of wet electrostatic precipitator is ≤ 10mg / Nm3.
